Straws can be dyed to match specific colours to accessorise an outfit for a special occasion. Any number of ribbons, threads, flowers, fruits and objects can be added to make the hat individual. The hats are completely made by hand so no two hats will ever be the same. Sinamay is a banana fibre derivative, it enables the maker to create many shapes and intricate details for adornments. These hats are made for displaying large amounts of adornment to finish; this can then make the hat completely individual. Trims can include flowers, Sinamay creations (large ribbons, flowers and bows) veils, feathers and buckles. With this in mind, you can select colours from the commission's page and a selection of feathers, flowers or other objects, knowing that your hat is individual and a piece of original artwork in its own right.
