These allow the wearer a greater freedom as they are attached to the hair using clips or a band. They are ideal if you have shorter hair or prefer your hair in a ponytail or swept up into chignons.
They are inspired by the fashion for headwear in the early 1900's when no respectable Edwardian women would be seen without her hat.
Made from Sinamay, straw, Crin, velvet, silk and adorned with ribbons, feathers, jewels, flowers and other objects, they can be as large or small, as the wearer desires. A few flowers and ribbons for a smaller creation or a series of twisted straw shapes mounted onto a base and decorated with feathers and ribbons. Options are endless!
